• READY, GET SET, SAIL!!!

  The Sailing Program is hosting the SYC's first READY, GET SET, SAIL EVENT!  Participation is free and open to all SYC members and students of the Sailing Program.  It will be a day of of on and off the water activities, relays, races, and games.  Teams will consist of 2-3 boats with coach/instructor.  We will use SYC club boats or you may bring your own boat.  Coaches will be available to help with rigging and launching.  Parents will be able to observe their child participating in team sailing from a party barge anchored on the race course.  Or, parents may participate with their child.
  
  Lunch will be catered by Shavers and will include catfish, hush puppies, french fries, and cole slaw for $12/adult or $6/child.  Hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken will also be available for purchase.
  
  Schedule of events:
  10 am - Let the Games Begin
  Noon - 1:30 pm - Lunch
  2 pm - Games, races, activities
  5:30 pm - Trophies and Awards presentation
